“The Terrorist Threat Overseas and at Home”

He serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve program with prior assignments to the Joint Analysis Center (JAC), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Intelligence Fusion Center (IFC), and J2X Stuttgart, Germany.  Mobilized to Kabul, Afghanistan during the period of 2007 thru 2008 he served as the Senior Analyst for the Joint Intelligence Operations Center, while also acting as the Liaison Officer for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Political Advisor. Deployed for 410 days into an active combat zone he was awarded the Bronze Star.  LCDR Bielski recently returned from a year and a half active duty military assignment in Europe.  At the U.S. European Command in Germany he was the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Counter Intelligence (CI) activities section.

 

He was Adjunct Faculty in 2015 for the National Intelligence University – European Academic Center, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, where he instructed a course on “The Transnational Threat Environment” during the 2015 fall semester with students participating from military facilities in Stuttgart Germany and Cambridgeshire, England.

 

From 1993 to 2009, he was with the Chicago Police Department achieving the rank of Sergeant.  From 2009 to present, he has been working as a supervisory intelligence analyst with the federal government.
