Legal Compliance and Sexual Violence Prevention Training
Valuable, Interactive Training from Industry Experts

This training will address the critical intersection between compliance with federal laws to address sexual and intimate partner violence, and the role that threat assessment can play in effectively addressing these issues.
Team members from various functions across campus are encouraged to attend this training together to better understand each other’s perspectives and challenges and coordinate a timely, effective response to issues. Using a multidisciplinary approach, participants will work through multiple real-life case studies resulting in shared knowledge of:

  • Title IX and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) compliance
  • Roles and responsibilities of the Title IX/VAWA and campus threat assessment teams
  • Preventing and responding to sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking
  • Strategies to reduce conflict and enhance team cooperation.
