The Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and Los Angeles Police Department Threat Management Unit
are pleased to present the Twenty-Nineth Annual Threat Management Conference, designed to address major issues
surrounding mass shootings and other public attacks, workplace violence, school/campus violence, domestic violence,
assassination of public figures and other situations involving the prevention of targeted violence. A variety of nationally
recognized speakers will give presentations on current information, research and techniques relating to the industry.

ATAP TMC 2019 Registration

Due to the increased demand for the TMC training and the limited size of the Disneyland Hotel venue, this year, TMC attendance will be capped at 1,000 attendees.  Limiting the number of attendees was a difficult decision but to ensure the continued high quality attendee experience, ATAP leaders had to recognize the various event space limitations.  Once we receive 1,000 registrations, registrations will only be available as cancellations occur. At this time, registration will only be available as cancellations occur and through the ATAP website. ATAP has received approximately 23 cancellations for the TMC. Registration for the conference will re-open TODAY, Monday, July 29th at 12:00PM PST to fill these open spots. Please note that these registrations will only be available through the ATAP website and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to the high volume of traffic on the ATAP website during this registration process, these spots will fill very quickly.  


Registration Rates:

Regular Registration Rates - June 1 - The Conference

ATAP Members: $695

Active Law Enforcement: $725

*ATAP Apply New Members: $910 ($695 + $215 Application Fee and First Year Dues)

Non-Law Enforcement/Non ATAP Members: $775


**Students: $550

Please Note:

Active Law Enforcement rate applies ONLY to currently sworn police officers, district attorneys and city attorneys.

Students must be enrolled in a graduate program in the field of criminal justice or psychology, and must provide school and instructor’s name as a reference.

*Registrants of this rate must submit their completed application prior to attendance at the 2019 TMC and membership is not confirmed or guaranteed until membership is approved. New Member Application fees are nonrefundable, and must be paid in full at the time your registration.

** Must provide school name and referring instructor

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made IN WRITING and received by ATAP no later than July 31, 20198. All cancellations received by July 31, 2019 will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. There will be NO refunds for cancellations made after July 31, 2019.
