SORRY, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU, IT’S ABOUT THEM
Understanding how human factors and your adversaries impact security is key to a successful risk and threat assessment. In order to integrate a security awareness culture throughout an organization and impacted communities, it is essential to better understand the human factors that impact security. This includes putting aside your biases and building a risk assessment from the perspective of your adversary.
The presentation will use illustrative examples to demonstrate how you can go beyond common assumptions and the usual suspects to assess risks needed to develop a comprehensive program to protect your organization’s human, tangible, and intangible assets. Managing risk and security awareness are everyone’s responsibility. Identifying and understanding human factors that impact risk will help you tailor your security program to achieve your organization’s objectives.
