About the Speaker: Aaron Likens will present Finding Kansas: Living With and Decoding Asbergers Syndrome. Mr. Likens has trained over 5,000 law enforcement personnel in dealing with victims and suspects who are on the Autism Spectrum. Diagnosed when he was 20 years old, he began writing essays in order to help his father understand who he was. Five years later, those writings turned into his bestselling book, Finding Kansas. In 2009, he was hired by an Autism Services organization and began training officers in the St. Louis County Police Department. Since then he has been the top rated trainer for the Crisis Intervention Team at the St. Louis Police Academy. He has also presented training at a number of FBI offices and will be presenting at the FBI National Academy. Mr. Likens lives in St. Louis, Missouri and is also a flagman for several national race series.
