San Diego Chapter
Chapter Meetings:
The San Diego ATAP chapter holds bi-monthly luncheon meetings, almost always on the first Wednesday of every even numbered month of the year (Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., Dec.). The meetings run from 1130 to 1330 and are held at the Admiral Baker Country Club / restaurant. Take I-15 to Friars Road East, turn left at Santo, make the first right on to the Admiral Baker Field main road, and follow the signs to the clubhouse parking lot.
Chapter History:
The San Diego ATAP Chapter began in 1998 and like today, includes a core group of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, probation officers, victim advocates, security, human resources, and mental health professionals. Chapter members actively work in the field of threat assessment and the investigation and management of workplace violence, domestic violence, and stalking cases.
The San Diego ATAP chapter features luncheon speakers who bring interesting and dynamic case studies and offer cutting-edge threat management strategies to the group. We proudly support the efforts of the ATAP National Board, including our annual participation as both presenters and attendees, in the ATAP National Conference in Anaheim held each August.
